WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRADE BRAND PHENTERMINE AND GENERIC PHENTERMINE DIET PILLS?
Phentermine is the generic name of the chemical ingredient that bring about a reaction with a the brain to suppress appetite. Phentermine has several Trade Brand names such as Ionamin and Adipex-P but is also sold generically.  In all Phentermine diet pills there are two types of ingredients, inactive ingredients and active ingredients. Phentermine is the active ingredient which is what causes the chemical suppression of appetite.  Inactive ingredients include corn starch and coloring which are the components of the pills that are mixed with the active Phentermine to manufacture the tablet or capsule so it is easily ingested.

Generic phentermine pills are the bioequivalent to Trade Brand phentermine appetite suppressant pills. Bioequivalent means the dosage strength, safety, quality, performance, and manner of administering the appetite suppressant pill are exactly the same for the branded and generic forms of the drug Phentermine. Inactive ingredients tend to differ amongst the various brands. Inactive ingredients are mixed with the chemical Phentermine to produce the final pills in tablet or capsule form. Numerous inactive ingredients are used to vary the absorption of Phentermine into the body for immediate or time release absorption.

Some users may find that due to the way their body processes the inactive ingredients may make some phentermine pills more effective than others for that individual.
